This hotel exceeded our expectations in so many ways. Firstly, the location is fantastic - conveniently close to Highway 80 but far enough away to avoid any road noise. Secondly, the staff here are absolutely wonderful. From the proprietors to the entire team, everyone was attentive, professional, and genuinely made us feel welcome. The level of service was outstanding. Thirdly, the rooms are beautifully decorated with a nod to the past but with all the modern comforts we needed. We stayed in the Freemont room and loved the convenient private entrance and patio. Additionally, the breakfast was absolutely delicious - beautifully prepared and served with care and attention.

Equidistant between us, 5.5 hours of driving each. The rooms are clean and comfortable, furnished in late Victorian style. The restaurant is excellent, with top-notch chef Susan. The hotel has been renovated but preserves its historic charm. The combination of friendliness, excellent food, and the beauty of the hotel brought us back for a third visit and will bring us back for a fourth visit.
